RootJam 2023: Stack the Odds - The Casino Conclaves

The Casino Conclave are a fan faction for the Root Board Game. This is meant to be downloaded and printed and played alongside the main game.

As the Casino Conclaves, you want to turn the Woodland into a premier resort destination filled with gambling, entertainment and nightlife. Though hampered by your lack of hands, your Bankroll helps fund your expansion through recruitment, movement, and the hiring of Pit Bosses.

These wily vipers help tip the odds in your favour by stacking the bankroll with wild cards, ensuring that your battles net a tidy profit. Rolling Snake Eyes and having ambush cards in the bankroll will further bolster your warriors, allowing even a single lucky snake to take on an army and come out on top.

Build Casinos in the evening to expand your influence, craft, and draw more cards for your Bankroll. Though scoring points may seem up to lady luck, you have multiple ways to do so, either through your Ophidia Roulette, or by taking on high-risk battles.

But beware! For while the house always wins, you must also always Pay Out, which can be costly if you don't have the backing of a casino. Also remember that while fortune favors the bold, a gamble sometimes nets a loss.
